Amazing food, with excellent, friendly service. The Easter weekend gave us an opportunity to get away to Cornwall & as always, the first thing we did was to visit our friends at the Toby Jug Cafe for a well deserved breakfast! The food was amazing as usual & service was second to none… the team are so friendly & Ray made us especially welcome, we first came as hungry customers, but now 3 years later at 6 monthly visits, we return to see good friends! We also enjoyed the 2nd week of the new evening menu & were certainly not disappointed, the zingy chicken burgers were delicious & we couldn’t get enough of the loaded hunters fries… If you’re in the Boscastle area, you need to go to see the team, have a breakfast, cream tea, or something from the new evening menu… you won’t find better food with quality service. Kernow QueenFabulous takeaway We recently visited this cafe for breakfast as it was highly recommended. The cafe was clean, welcoming and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast was so good that we decided to make a return visit to sample a takeaway which is new for a Friday & Saturday night. We had zingy burgers, salt & pepper squid and loaded fries and as it is licensed we enjoyed a tipple whilst the kids had icecream thickshakes. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable so we will return when we are next in North Cornwall. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!Posted on Tripadvisor
Barry WA must if in the area ‘Amazing’ is the best word to describe the Full English, cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere staff very attentive. So good had to make a second trip whilst down there to sample the Chilli which was the best I had ever tasted. Can’t wait to visit again when we return to Cornwall. Road53969937231Outstanding breakfast Absolutely outstanding breakfast, we had the big breakfast.. including hogs pudding... everything was cooked perfectly, staff are very attentive warm and very friendly, don't go to boscastle without visiting the Toby for something to eat... excellent local produce and very good value.
