a cherished gem nestled in the heart of Boscastle, Cornwall. Located at 6 Bridge Walk, just steps from the picturesque harbour, our café offers a warm and inviting atmosphere where visitors and locals alike can relax and enjoy hearty, homemade meals.

Under new management since February 2023, the Toby Jug Café has quickly become a favourite spot for breakfast, light lunches, hearty meals and indulgent cream teas.

Our menu features a delightful array of options, including traditional award-winning breakfast using the finest ingredients from Phillip Warren, freshly prepared lunches including a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Ice-creams are available from Farmer Toms Ice-creams, We also serve a selection of beers, ciders, and wines to complement your meal.

Our café serves up a luxurious range of flavoured ice creams, from classic clotted cream vanilla and rich chocolate to fruity blackberry & blueberry and crunchy honeycomb. We’ve also got dairy-free options – and treats for your furry friends too!

Lunch – Our aim is simple

there is pretty much something for everyone, Whether you have food allergies or follow a vegan diet we have tried to make sure you won’t go hungry.

Our main menu also includes homemade burgers using Phillip Warren’s finest steak mince, freshly made sandwiches and paninis amongst a number of other mouthwatering dishes

We are particularly proud of our Full Cornish breakfast which includes award winning ingredients from Phillip Warren Butchers in Launceston, this was recognised in 2025 by local food bloggers who bestowed the award of Best breakfast in North Cornwall, no one was more surprised than we were!
